No, I just set Myth itself to invoke mythfilldatabase. This works just
right (now) in that the machine (usually) has 12/13 days of listings, and it
only wakes up to make a recording.

The caveats are to do with the fact that I had problems with config file
locations when running automatically versus manually, but this has nothing
to do with the auto shutdown / wake up process and is now resolved (thanks
to help from this list).

I'm curious as to whether you actually want your system to wake up for the
download or not? My machine is set to record shows most days, so the
machine is actually on about 3-4 hours per weekday. This means that the
schedules are always pretty fresh. I can see that a machine that is less
heavily used might miss late breaking changes to the listings if these were
not being explicitly down loaded on a regular basis.

Regards

Guy
