There are no "slave" frontends--only slave backends. Therefore, the
frontend can only be a slave if it is a combined frontend/backend. If
it is not a combined frontend/backend (i.e. it does not have capture
cards), you do not configure the video sources on the frontend.
However, LiveTV can fail if the video sources are improperly configured
on the backend.
But, we're just guessing here because we have absolutely no information
on which to base our conclusions...
