[mythtv-users] Frontend / Backend

Thanks for the quick response!
I will post logs when I give it a new try this weekend.
One more thing. When setting up a frontend, do I need to compile a
backend as well? The configure program gives a warning that compiling
without a backend is only for developers when porting... bla bla bla. So
I compiled the backend and figured that it should work as a slave
backend. hav I understood this correctly that I must have a backend
(slave backend) on the frontend machine?
