Indeed.  And I presume you mean knoppmyth?  Do you know which versions 
use 0.18.1?

Pretty much the conclusion I'd come to.  The problem is with the 
database being upgraded with (afaik) no downgrade option.  The other 
problem is that I have (or would like to have) a life :-))
