[mythtv-users] Aussies: WARNING about IceTV

Fellow Aussies,

I signed up for a trial of IceTV's EPG. I wasn't overly impressed by the
lack of data for HDTV channels. However, I'm even less impressed that,
when my trial period expired, they poisoned my existing data by replacing
every program with "expired"-

removing existing program: 1 Japanese News 2006-08-01T05:25:00 -
2006-08-01T06:00:00
inserting new program    : 1 Expired Tue Aug 1 05:25:00 2006 - Tue Aug 1
06:00:00 2006

removing existing program: 1 Cantonese News 2006-08-01T06:00:00 -
2006-08-01T06:20:00
inserting new program    : 1 Expired Tue Aug 1 06:00:00 2006 - Tue Aug 1
06:20:00 2006

removing existing program: 1 Mandarin News 2006-08-01T06:20:00 -
2006-08-01T06:50:00
inserting new program    : 1 Expired Tue Aug 1 06:20:00 2006 - Tue Aug 1
06:50:00 2006

They didn't warn me they were going to do that (or if they did, it was in
the fine print.) That kind of behaviour isn't going to make them any
friends.
