See, that's kind of odd, given that (I assume you're using SD) you  
should be receiving 4:3 pictures, which should fit the aspect ratio  
you're specifying.

The transcoder is probably not reading the aspect ratio data on your  
file, and just seeing square pixels. Try disabling the scale setting  
or something. There should be an option hidden in there *somewhere*  
to override aspect ratio when resizing.
