[mythtv-users] myth recordings are cropping at the sides???

Hi,
Myth recordings are  not playing on full screen when I play them afterwards
in my mobile after compressing and resizing them to 3GP format!...they are
cropping at the edges .The default size of the recordings are
400x400.Butafter resizing them to 176x144...they still play as perfect
square!
How to change the size so that it will fit the mobile screen?
