Derek -

Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't gotten my IR blaster yet, but I have
experienced the same sorts of frustrating issues with the menus and program
guide when using my remote control and DCT2244 box. One wrong key and
you're lost in a twisty maze of eye candy, all of it alike, and as you said,
the Exit button is your only way out.

Your solution seems a very elegant way to get around that problem. I'll
give it a shot and report back to the list.

(Obligatory gushing praise for both the IVTV and MythTV teams: Fantastic
job, all. The quality of the apps and the support is incredible for any
application, but especially for an open source app. Additional thanks to
Axel for the ATrpms site, and to Jarod for the Fedora MythTV guide. I don't
have unlimited time to fiddle with this stuff, and thanks to you guys, I
don't have to spend a lot of time on it.)
