Using mythtv-setup's channel editor, change the freqid for channels 84
and 85 to 71 and 72 and delete channels 71 and 72 from the lineup, if
they exist, or at least change their freqid's to the appropriate channel
numbers. If you really want to, you can even change the channel
numbers. As long as you don't change the xmltvid and do /not/ pass the
"--do-channel-updates" option to mythfilldatabase, it should continue to
update the listings without problems. If you ever need to use
"--do-channel-updates", you'll have to edit your channels, again--unless
TMS has updated the lineup by then (and, of course, they will update it
within a week of your fixing your channels ;).

Heh. No doubt. :)

Tnx; I'll give that a try. Should have asked months ago, but figured
it would be a temporary condition.

(Actually, I'll give it a try in a few hours, -after- Myth has
unconfused itself on another issue with manual recording on a
different channel. I started one, stopped it after a while, scheduled
another one and let it run for a while, stopped it---and the FE UI
claims it's still recording, whereas Mythweb's status claims it's not,
and trying to schedule a third manual recording claims it's
conflicting with the one I can't kill. I'm assuming it will all get
sorted out after the end time of the one I couldn't kill, but that's
a ways in the future. I was -trying- to record a couple things with
unknown start/end times, but hadn't counted on Myth being so totally
flaky re manual recordings. I dunno if this is any less flaky in 19
or SVN.)
