I have the Scientific Atlanta 3250 HD.

I get about 8 HD channels over firewire, the rest are not set to
transmit over it. CBS, NBC, Discovery HD, ABC, FOX, TNT, PBS and maybe
2 or 3 other HD channels which are just "special events" type
channels.

Eventually I'd like to hook the STB up via some video out into an
input card on my computer, use the sa3250ch channel changing program
to change the tuner and be able to record all the digital cable on the
box, but because it's an HD box it's particular about what devices you
plug it into.
