[mythtv-users] configure with Firewire support

I've installed libiec61883, libavc1394, and libdv in _BOTH_ default
(/usr/local and /usr) prefixes. I tried to find my answer through the
mailing lists and noticed someone mentioned something about devel
package being needed, but wasn't very descriptive.

I'm running Slackware 10.2

I've tried ./configure --enable-firewire and ./configure --prefix=/usr
--enable-firewire but cannot get the configure script to allow me to
build with firewire support.

Any help would be wonderful,
