I have not yet tried to record or play HD (I don't
have a HD card yet).  I am currently using the FX5200
card with XvMC turned on.  My screen resolution is
640x480 (I think).  I'm running mythtv 0.18.1.  My
display stutters when the OSD is on.  This apparently
is a bug related to the use of XvMC.  It is supposed
to be fixed in 0.19.

Have you had other stuttering problems?  Is your CPU
ok when you are using XvMC?  I have a 2.4GHz
celeron--hopefully that will be enough for HD with
XvMC turned on.
