[mythtv-users] PVR-500 image quality and missing channels

Hi,

I just got a PVR-500 a week or 2 ago. It works fine but I don't find the
image quality to be any better than on my old Leadtek TV tuner, I was
wondering if there's some settings I can play with to try to get a
better quality?

I must point out though that I only have analog cable and the cable that
goes to the computer is going through 2 splitters in the house (I don't
own the place) so I'm not expecting satellite TV quality here. Could a
signal booster help?

Also there's a few channels I have on the TV that I can't see on the
MythTV box, could that be the source that doesn't have a strong enough
signal for the TV tuner? I noticed it's mainly in the higher channels,
like 40-70.
