You probably don't want to try the V4L stuff, just continue working
with getting it setup as a DVB device. It may be a permissions issue,
or that you have the wrong modules loaded (probably the wrong
modules). I think the key is to always use the DVB option so you
don't get confused with all the V4L stuff and continue trying to set
it up as a V4L device.
