Just a thought, but do you get full time reception if you're not  
using myth?
Does the dropout happen always or only at certain times of the day?

I'm wondering if you could be experiencing "fading" issues (http:// 
www.hdtvprimer.com/ANTENNAS/glossaryA.html#fading)
