[mythtv-users] crashes when trying to watch live TV

I've been looking for about 3 days now and I can't seem to find the 
answer to my problem.  Whenever I try to watch live tv in myth the the 
screen goes black and it simply crashes.

however when i try to watch using mplayer it works ok

my setup is as follows:

amd xp 1800
512mb
ecs k7s5a
nvidia gforce fx 5200
hauppage pvr 150 mce

i have followed the instructions on http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php, and i have spent a lot of time searching for an answer to this problem, but i can't seem to find it (i'm probably just using the wrong phrases when i do the search)

if anyone has any ideas, or links to solve my problem that would be great, in the meantime i'm just going to keep working on it, and if i find an answer i'll post it
