Just thought I might save some other a bit of trouble with kernel 2.6.14 and Lirc. After upgrading to the latest kernel, I had a problem betting lirc to work. Turns out that you must use the latest beta of lirc, if using kernel 2.6.14: http://lirc.sourceforge.net/software/snapshots/lirc-0.7.3pre1.tar.bz2 John
