Not sure if this is relevant, but the major number for LIRC is
normally 61, whereas your log gives lirc_dev as 60.

Also, do you have another card in the system (the cx88 errors below
the ivtv/lirc output)? If you do, I would recommend commenting out the
loading (if done manually) to see if this speeds up solving the lirc
problem.
