[mythtv-users] FC3 strange error after normal setup

I had a perfectly working mythtv box (Fedora Core 3 Pundit-R with the
Hauppauge PVR 350) by using Jarod's walkthrough:
http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/index.php.

I say "had" because the power went out two nights ago, and now it
gives me an odd error when the PVR is recording:

I've done some googling and some have said that it could be that dma
isn't enabled, when it is for my machine (My hard disc is /dev/hdb):

[root at gwynevere mythtv]# hdparm -d /dev/hdb

/dev/hdb:
 using_dma    =  1 (on)
[root at gwynevere mythtv]#

Some one else mentioned that it may be a permissions error, which it
shouldn't be (my recording directory is /home/video/recordings):

[root at gwynevere mythtv]# ls -al /home/video
total 28
drwxrwxrwx 6 mythtv mythtv 4096 Apr 24 17:45 .
drwxr-xr-x 9 root root 4096 Apr 25 11:26 ..
drwxrwxr-x 2 mythtv mythtv 4096 May 9 17:41 buffer
drwxrwxr-x 2 mythtv mythtv 4096 Apr 24 17:45 mp3
drwxrwxr-x 2 mythtv mythtv 4096 May 11 17:07 mpeg
drwxrwxr-x 2 mythtv mythtv 4096 May 11 17:59 recordings
[root at gwynevere mythtv]#

I read a post by Isaac saying something to the effect that this may be
because the computer can't write to the hard drive fast enough. I'm
not sure that is the explanation either because it *was working
perfectly.

The only thing I don't have that Jarod has in his howto is the
Automatic start up section, so when I started the PVR after the power
went out, I modprobbed, ivtv, and lirc_i2c. Then I started mythbackend
and mythfrontend, and started getting the above error when it started
recording.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks,
James
