Hi Mary.

Some of the dvb-t drivers don't report the signal strength properly - my
Leadtek LR6650 cards report the inverse of the signal ...

As for the exporting issue - I had problems with that too - it's
inherent in the kind of stream they transmit. What I do when I want to
convert a recorded show to divx or whatever is put the .nuv file through
a re-muxing tool which corrects the sync. There's a one for Windows
called PVAStrumento - it's quick and very efficient for making a
'proper' mpeg file from a recorded show.

Enough heresy though - I think there are such tools for Linux but I
don't know where to get them. I guess I'll have to find out when I dump
XP for good soon ;-)

Hope I've helped a little.

Regards,
Justin
