I have something similar with a Leadtek winfast 2000 XP Deluxe and an 
on-motherboard Intel sound card, but for me the sync problem is less a 
second.

I know I have seen something about 2 second sync problems somewhere on a 
website - it has something to do with buffering, but my sync problem seems to 
be for shorter period and I can't fibd any solution
