That's OK.

This means you never performed the apt-get dist-upgrade operation. In
case you have reasons not to do so before switching to stable, then
simply use
apt-get install medley-package-config fedora-release

ok, I did:
# apt-get install medley-package-config fedora-release
this all seemed to work fine in as much as no errors while installing... now
I just gotta find xmame .. found zsnes though, which is what I was really
looking for!
