[mythtv-users] Stuttering / tearing video in recordings - PVR-250, Celeron 500MHz

This is so close to working perfectly that it's already really cool. I 
just have a couple of little things to clear up.
I am experiencing tearing frames and / or stuttering video in 
recordings from my PVR-250.
My Default profile is:
480x480
Video:
	Codec: MPEG-2 Hardware Encoder
	Stream Stype: MPEG-2 PS
	Aspect Ratio: 4:3
	Bit Rate: 3000
	Max. Bit Rate: 4500
Audio:
	Code: MPEG-2 Hardware Encoder
	Sampling Rate: 32000
	Layer II
	Bitrate: 384Kbps
	Volume: 90%

I've grokked the archives, but most of what I've found is "Mine doesn't 
work." and the reply being "Mine works fine."
Do you think increasing the Bit Rates for the video would help? 
(Something I saw in the archive). Would changing the resolution to 
720x480 help? (Being closer to "native" resolution)

I've attempted to recompile everything (Qt, LAME, MythTV, etc.) using 
-march=i686 to get a little more
performance, but haven't been successful, as I get caught up in the 
ELLL (Endless Linux Library Loop).

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
