With x86_64 you need to remove all the i386 rpms. You loose access to 
open office and a few other things, but most of myth will work, 
though I still do not have my HD-3000 working.

You can use the RPM command found in Comment number 2:

    http://bugzilla.atrpms.net/show_bug.cgi?id=334

I used the second RPM command shown in Axel's comment and it cleaned 
many things up. -Chuck-
