[mythtv-users] Which nVidia cards can be used - so many to choose from

Speaking as one who has dealt with his share of nvidia problems, the mx 
4000 (no fan, pretty cheep right now) works fine with the newer kernels 
only if you use a hacked driver. You can get more info from my previous 
post on the subject, including the website for the driver. I've heard 
that other "older" nvidia cards have the same issue with the newer 
driver (ie, pre 5200). If you can find a 5200 without a fan, that would 
be my recommendation as a starting point. If noise is no issue, go with 
your budget...
