This is hard to answer.

On one hand, don't go with anything over the 5200, as they have fans
on them, more heat, more noise.

However, if you are going to drive an HDTV with DVI, I and others have
had no end of problems with many levels of card, so no firm answer yet.

In fact, you are probably fine with a geforce4, which can be had for
about $30 in online shops.   No fan.   However, there are reports of
problems with the 6629 driver on "older" cards.  I don't know if gf4 counts
as an older card or not.   I use the 6111 driver in any event.

I haven't tried it, but I see no reason why you couldn't use even a geforce2
if you wanted to for regular myth tv out.   Even those have xvmc whenever
that becomes stable in myth.  (Though they don't have some fancy xvmc features
found only in the fx models or geforce4 mx models.)
