[mythtv-users] LiveTV - blank screen only

This sounds similar to an issue I was having. If you
try to watch tv using the pearl tuner and xine what
happens? I believe Jarod's instructions has a spot
where he tells how to do that. If that works then its
probably a permission issue with myth (backend?) being
able to read from the device. What I did was go into
/dev and make the device file readable by everyone.
Actually I was lazy and gave everyone full control.
(777) Changing the owner may also be a way to correct
it.

This looks wrong as well.

Should be /dev/video0 from the looks of some of the
other info you gave. Again if you use the pearl tuner
you will be able to play with all of these settings
till you find the one that works.
