[mythtv-users] LiveTV - blank screen only

Greetings.  I am glad I have found this resource.


I have finally gotten what I believe to be the correct settings for my
Myth TV setup; I am running on Fedora Core 3 using Jarod's instruction
set at Wilsonet.

I have successfully installed lirc, ivtv and myth tv suite. I have the
backend up and running, database populated, and have run mythtvsetup
(many times) to configure for my feed from Zap2It and my PVR-350 card.

Currently, I am connected to an LCD monitor for testing purposes.

I am a DirecTV user, and have my cable going straight into the
PVR-350's coax input.

# mythtvsetup

Under capture cards, I have set up:
[ MPEG: /dev/video0 ]
Video device: /dev/video0
Default input: Tuner 0


Under Input connections, I have:

[ MPEG : /dev/video0 ] (Tuner 0) -> (name of my video profile setup)

In # mythfrontend, I have:

under Utilities/Setup, Setup, TV Settings, Playback:

x Use the PVR-350's TV out/MPEG decoder
Video device for the PVR-350 MPEG decoder: /dev/video16

What I am experiencing is a black screen when I attempt to view
LiveTV.  Please help if you can.  This is driving me nuts.
