Hi again everyone,

I have been struggling the last few days trying to work out issues
with my mythtv setup. One of the users (shawn) has been a huge help
to me but I still can't manage to get the ivtv stuff working.

Ok so hear is my story. I originally followed jarods guide for FC2
and installed the 2.6.8-1.521 kernel per the guide. All was well and
I could watch live tv, record, and all that other good stuff. THen i
tried to get my logitech dual action controller working. I applied
the patch to hid-core.c and recompiled the kernel and had an issue
with the recompile. So we installed a couple different kernels and
ivtv drivers but I haven't had luck getting x to run on my pvr350's
tvout. I am still able to ssh into the box, x does just does not load.
So right now I am running the 2.6.9-1.6 kernel and thankfully the
controller now works but now ivtv is broken. I did a # apt-get
install ivtv-firmware

and now rpm -qa | grep ivtv shows:
ivtv-firmware-dec-2.02.023-4.at
ivtv-firmware-1.8a-4.at
ivtv-firmware-enc-2.04.024-4.at

Then i tried apt-get install kernel-module-ivtv-$MYKERNEL but it
couldn't find the package to my kernel. So i went to atrpms and
downloaded kernel-module-ivtv-2.6.9-1.6_FC2-0.1.10-48.3_pre2_ck100zz.rhfc2.at.i686.rpm
and tried to install it and got the error:

[root at localhost mythtv]# rpm -ivh
kernel-module-ivtv-2.6.9-1.6_FC2-0.1.10-48.3_pre2_ck100zz.rhfc2.at.i686.rpm
warning: kernel-module-ivtv-2.6.9-1.6_FC2-0.1.10-48.3_pre2_ck100zz.rhfc2.at.i686.rpm:
V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 66534c2b
error: Failed dependencies:

is needed by kernel-module-ivtv-2.6.9-1.6_FC2-0.1.10-48.3_pre2_ck100zz.rhfc2.at

So rather than beating my head against a wall and trying a million
different combos and probably breaking more stuff in the process which
rpms should i grab for my setup?

So to summarize.. I had everything working before... wanted to use my
gamepad so recompiled the 2.6.8-1.521 kernel and that didn't work.
Then tried several different kernels with different ivtv combos and
haven't been able to get it working since. I could fall back to my
2.6.8-1.521 kernel and get it all back working most likely but that
would still leave me without the use of my gamepad (which i really
want).

So where do i go from here?

If any additional info is needed let me know
thanks
