Hi!
It's finally come to this day. I used a borrowed DVR Sat Receiver,
which I will have to return in the next two weeks.
So I finally HAVE to have MythTV.
Since buying is always difficult, I want your tips. I couldn't find
any nice doc either on mythtv nor or on linuxtv, so I'm asking you.
I'm probably going to run on a 2+ Ghz Pentium System. Since
ORF-Digital (Austrian TV) needs a CAM with a Card to be seen (which I
have) I need something with a common Interface.
I was thinking of one of the NOVA-S Cards from Hauppauge. I found a
WinTV-Nova-Ci-S Common Interface on the Internet for cheap, which I'd
like to add (hopefully that works).
All I want to be able to to is timeshift, and maybe watch another
recording while a show is being recorded.
To I need something besides those NOVA Cards? Is there a better
sollution.
I'd rather spend my money on harddisks then on DVD Cards, so keep that
in mind.
Links to german shops are appreciated
Cheers
Leonard
