There's a script that can update existing channel information that don't
have dvb infos with corresponding entries from channel.conf - found it
when browing forums yesterday; can't remember where though, sorry :-)
match is by channel name.

At least I downloaded a copy, so I'll attach it here.

Worked for my test - I'd downloaded the initial channel config using
tv_grab_de_tvtoday (with a symlink as tv_grab_de so mythtv setup finds
it).

After setup you must run mythfilldatabase --manual to add the info
mising in the xml data; the absolute minimum you've got to add foreach
channel is a channel number and the TV Format (PAL); you can leave all
other fields mythfilldatabase asks for blank.

The script matches channels to channels.conf by channel name, so you may
have to create a modified channels.conf with names matching your mythtv
conffig - the tvtoday stuff doesn't exactly match the names gathered by
dvbscan.

If someone has a better method of getting dvb-s channel data set up -
I'm interested :-)

Bye, Martin
