I've got the DCT-6xxx but I don't have firewire on my linux box.. I'm 
tempted to add it, but I really don't need it right now when I have it on 
my Windows box.

You should get a receiver that handles Component Inputs.. unless you have a 
decent receiver now that doesn't.  If you don't, maybe its time for an 
update.. If you're married, you can use it as an excuse.. and tell her you 
need 6.1 too.. or 7.1 if thats your fancy.. ;)
