My apologies, but I'd never seen a posting from you before a week ago
either, and I've been quite the regular on this list for some time. I
do now see that you had three posts back in late 2002, then nothing
until last week. But you apparently have a much different recollection
of what users are after than I do. And on a related note... If you've
really been following the lists as closely as you say you have, you
would have seen quite a few postings about the nvidia driver and
overscan...

Out of curiosity, why the 1.5 year hiatus from posting on the list?

Only 1421?!? ;-)

I think that says enough for me right there, but I'll continue anyhow.

I've personally set up quite a few more people than that, along with
umpteen folks I've helped on and off this list via email and with my
web page. Two people that you set up means squat to me.

Again, may I remind you, you're the one who said "I have no issues so I
don't care" and belittled the value of overscan, which most users on
the mythtv mailing lists I've been following want. I'm not assuming you
know nothing, but I do know there are areas in which you lack
knowledge, by your own admission.

Me neither...

Trying to educate, and I like a good debate, even if I know its
pointless.

Absolutely.

Working on it. Big move day at work is tomorrow, we work through the
weekend, then things should ease up, and I can throw together a
long-overdue, massive update...

And in closing, I will not respond on-list to another posting in this
thread. It has nothing to do with nVidia drivers anymore, its nothing
but a pissing contest. Feel free to email me personally if you wish to
attempt to further enlighten me.
