You might want to try adding a "DisplaySize" entry to the
"Monitor" section of your XF85Config file like this:

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "NTSC Monitor"
DisplaySize 660 480

[snip]

EndSection

The two numbers are the width and height of your actual screen
in millimeters.  I haven't actually tried this with a PVR-350
but it fixed the aspect ratio problem that I was having:
