How do I make sure to remover LIRC completely from my system? I installed it via atrpms following jarods guide. The reason for this is that I want to switch from my built in IR receiver for my avertv card to a homebrew IR receiver. Is this necessary to get my self compiled version of lirc working with the homebrew receiver? Eric
