Hmmm...things have not improved.

I cued up the recording from last night...Stage 14 of the Tour de
France. It is completely done recording (obviously). I skipped forward
and past about 30 minutes worth of video...I get the same problem. I
also noticed the messages being displayed in the console:

<snip>
diverged by 9745 frames, extending frame to keep audio in sync
waiting for free video buffers timed out
waiting for free video buffers timed out
waiting for free video buffers timed out
waiting for free video buffers timed out
</snip>

I even took off "experimental a/v sync"...same problem.

This is also occurring on my recording of Saturday Night Live...so it's
not specific to the Tour de France recordings.

One question...could the fact that I started watching both of these
recordings when they were still recording have permanently caused them
to not use the seek info, but instead always try to scan forward?

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
