I feel your pain, I got an SN41G2 as well, for Myth. It's happier now, but
it wasn't fun.

Ha! I was planning on doing the same thing. Examing the motherboard
manual, Line-In in is available on the connector which feeds the front
audio ports, but neither pin is connected. I was considering removing the
front-audio connector (I have no use for it) and wiriing the socket to
that. (But CD-IN is probably easier)

Thankfully, the TV board I have (SAA7134-based) does capture over PCI, so
the primary reason for wanting line-in is the fact I'm having issues with
it's capture over PCI. 

I'd love a PVR-250/350, but the local price is NZ$600-800. A little steep
when I have the CPU to do it in software.
