I do not have a video card that has a DVI out.  You should be able to 
use it to get HD resolutions.  Same issue with finding the correct X 
modelines, though.  For example, you'll want to configure your computer 
display to have a resolution of 1280x720 or 1920x1080, or a similar HD 
resolution.
