[mythtv-users] audio buffer overflows with DVB-T

Hi all,
I'm running Myth from CVS as of a few days ago with DVB-T. It's mostly
working just fine.
One of the TV stations is giving me trouble though. Sometimes when I
switch to that channel, the video/audio is jerky and mythfrontend prints
out "prebuffering pause" messages followed by lots of "audio overruns"
on stdout/stderr. Switching to another channel works fine, but when I go
back to that channel it does the same. If I restart mythfrontend, it
works OK.
For reference it's channel 7 in Melbourne (Australia) that's causing it.
The others work OK.
According to the log from mythbackend, they're using layer 2 audio, 256
kbit/sec, 48 kHz. Of the channels here they seem to be the only ones
using layer 2 - all the other stations are reported as having layer 1
only, in varying bitrates and sampling rates.
BTW, They have an AC3 pid as well for the same channel (both stereo and AC3
audio are available). Can I just put that PID in instead in the channel
editor? I haven't worked out how to get AC3 working yet though. I've got
the stereo PID in there right now.
On a not-so-related note, does HD playback work? I only just added an HD
channel to my setup (Nine HD in Melbourne, which seems to be about the
most demanding of any of them) and the front end prints mpeg stream
errors constantly.
thanks
Hamish
