[mythtv-users] xbox frontend on Xebian

Is anyone running the frontend on an xbox using Xebian 1.0.0 rather 
then Dennis Cartier's distibution?  The reason I ask is because the 
usb-xboxir.o that is customized for Myth and with the key repeat 
problem fixed is for kernel version 2.1.21-xbox but Xebian uses version 
2.4.23.  Rather then recompile my kernel (which I don't really know how 
to do yet) I'm hoping someone might have this module compiled for this 
kernel already and might send it to me.

If not, can anyone point me to a plain english, step by step tutorial 
for beginners on how to compile a new kernel and how to include the 
usb-xboxir.c and usb-xboxir.h files so that I end up with a working 
remote?
