[mythtv-users] Going straight into Myth TV Viewer

Are you using KDE?  It will save your desktop session by default.  At 
one point I had six frontends starting due to various problems during 
the initial config.  I killed all of the frontends, told KDE not to save 
the desktop (somewhere in the settings--I don't have one in front of me 
right now) and so far, so good.
