Hi all

I have setup and configured a PVR250(PAL) on my system. Everything looks ok, but
I am unable to get the thing to tune into anything. I have tried asetting the
thing to tuner=1, 2 and 5 without any success. I can do the cat /dev/video0 >
test.mpg ok, but all I get it static. I have followed Jarrod's doc, but haven't
bothered with the sound yet, although I have installed the suggested patched
kernel:
# uname -r
2.4.20-28_36.rh9.at

The Hauppauge binary I installed was from the latest 21288.exe

To tune the card (for tesing), I'm using this command:
/usr/lib/ivtv/ptune.pl --channel 26 --input /dev/video0 --freqtable
pal-europe-west (I live near Crystal Palace in London, so this should be BBC1 -
I also tried other local channels, such as 33, 23, 30 and 37. I also know the
UHF cable works as I have aportable TV here to test it on)

To view the TV, I'm using this command:
mplayer /dev/video0
and all I see is snow.

Here's some various settings from my system below, if they are of help. If I've
missed anything then pelase let me know. Thanks in advance for any replies

Mike
