I thought so, too.

Usually crossposting should really be avoided, but that mail had a CC
to mythtv-dev and a Bcc to Isaac. So the information should have
arrived in the right places. 

The posting to mythtv-user was mostly to give people the chance to
help themselves if they are experiencing that problem...
