[mythtv-users] mythtv on video projector

I saw a couple of people on this list are using mythtv on a video 
projector.  I was thinking of purchasing one for this application and 
have some questions.
Is it worth getting a 1024x768 projector or does an 800x600 actually 
work better since mythtv seems to run best (at least on my system now) 
when the front end is set to 800x600?
How do HDTV and DVD signals look on an 800x600 projector?
