[mythtv-users] Best non-Hauppauge TV-out cards?

Sounds like we're in exactly the same boat. I also have a pvr-350, and I
decided that I'd better invest in another tv-out card to keep the WAF up...
I also narrowed my search to the GeForce4 MX cards on newegg's site. Jarod
Wilson (of the famous howto site) has a Chaintech, and I've seen him mention
on this board that he was happy with it. So I opted for the Chaintech
nVidia GeForce4 MX440 8X. I ordered it Wednesday, and it has shipped but
hasn't arrived yet.

Oddly enough, I just searched on newegg's site, and my particular card isn't
there. Mine is like the LA-G482 for $48, but I paid $47 and mine has a DVI
output as well... I also opted for this one because it's fanless. Mine
should arrive by Monday, so I'll let you know how the transition goes from
the 350 tv-out to the new video card...
