Update (bug): Re: [mythtv-users] pvr-350: mythtv won't use /dev/video16

This looks very much like a Myth bug.

I decided to go through myth-setup again. After I had finished
configuring everything the same way I had the first time, I set X to use
the framebuffer, and bingo: everything works (well, almost). Sound and
video were perfect, as was the OSD. There were some issues changing
channels, but I'm reasonably certain I have that figured out.

So then I rebooted and myth-backend failed with MySQL errors. All of the
configuration information was completely wiped out or something. So I
set up the box again, same settings, and it did *not* work - XV was
being used instead of /dev/video16. So I ran setup again, same settings,
and this time it *did* work.

Very odd. Is anyone else running 0.14 with a PVR-350? I'm wondering if
back-revving to 0.13 would help.
