Well, lost points with the wife today. Had mythtv running, and
everything working well. We sat down to watch the new simpsons that was
recorded earlier, and about half way through (19 minutes to be
exact), the recording ended. I checked the logs, and there was nothing
unusual - except that the backend though it recorded 30 minutes of the
show!

2004-02-15 20:00:02 Started recording "The Simpsons" on channel: 1013 on cardid: 1, sourceid 1
2004-02-15 20:00:02 Changing from None to RecordingOnly

  Input #0, mpeg, from '/media/mythtv/1013_20040215200000_20040215203000.nuv':
    Stream #0.0: Video: mpeg2video, 480x480, 29.97 fps
    Stream #0.1: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, stereo, 384 kb/s

Any idea what happend? How can I find out? The little box during
playback does say that it recorded only 19:xx minutes - but why? Is it
related to the "blocking in threadedfilewriter" bit in the log?

Not sure if this is related or not, but when I try to delete that same
show, I get the "backend has gone away for some reason" error, and the
logs say:

  2004-02-15 21:40:29 ReadStringList timeout.
(frontend console) Connection to backend server lost
(hit ok at the popup on the frontend)

Setup:

Mythtv-0.14, installed via apt-get
FC1, PVR-350 (tuner and TV-out)
NFS partition of 0.5T, about 50% full.

Any suggestions welcome!
