This has been discussed a few times, as of yet there is no fix. I can
usually reproduce the problem if I record two programs in a row. The
second recording usually has this problem. It seems totally random.
CSI last week stopped recording three times for me. Most likely its a
ivtv issue and we'll just have to wait for a new version and hope for
the best.
