[mythtv-users] Hissing during LiveTV

Wow, I haven't written to the list about an issue in a while. Thats a good
thing :)
 
I'm not sure if this problem has always been taking place or has just
started recently.

Today, I was watching a recorded show and realized there was bad hissing
whenever their was audio output. While you can understand the audio output
just fine, it was over consitent hissing. During a moment of silence there
is no hissing.
 
This also happens with LiveTV. It does not, however, happen with xine or
mplayer, which leads me to believe this is a MythTV issue.
 
I have checked my mixer and tv settings many times over for possible
problems, but to no avail.
 
Any ideas?
