[mythtv-users] converting nuv files to vob?

It works!!  I have a share set up b/t my mythbox and my WinXP box.  I 
have successfully transferred a few program files from the linux box 
to the WinXP box, changed the name to xxx.mpg.  No problems playing 
on the computer!  Now to test burn a DVD and play on the TV.  By the 
way, this also increases my storage capacity by several, several 
GBs.

Symlinking it on the myth box and sharing it might be a better 
idea.  Renaming
the .nuv will foul up MythTV.

Or you can do the remultiplexing and authoring on the myth box (with 
the scripts
that have been posted) and share the authored DVD files.

You might have problems directly authoring the MPEGs with Windows 
tools for the
same reason dvdauthor won't work with the files directly without 
remultiplexing.
